Re: Downsides to a catamaran
I agree with Spoiled One, get ahold of Akcat. He is a wealth of knowledge and an overall good dude. He's answered a lot of my questions when I decided to go with a cat. Now having said that, I don't own a cat at this point in time but soon will. I'm in the final stages of locking down on lay out, eq...

Re: East coast canyon tuna trip
Scott, My personal recommendation is to head down and take a trip with a charter for the first trip. That way you can get the low down on what kind of rigs to use, water temps and all that to look for. And the only reason I say that is because I just took "vacation" and fished with my bro ...

I haven't an honest answer because I don't know but google told me...It's to give offshore boats that run offshore better economy and speed when making long runs.

new movie clip!
Check this new movie coming out. Pretty cool I think, all the operators in the movie are active duty Navy Seals. This one looks way better than the one Charlie Sheen did years ago! And there is a little bit of boat porn in it too!

I was told by a friend to check this out. It's awesome to see people coming together to help out others in need. I'm not gonna lie it left a little tear in my eye.

Re: Harbercraft - Kingfisher
Pretty much! I seen one in Seward, great looking boat but for the price for a used one or even new, I bet the sky would be the limit from another alloy builder. I tossed another boat into the mix, I'm starting to really dig the Armstrong cats

Ha! I know where you are. Haven't fished that direction for years. This is the time of year. Flesh flies? shhhhhhhhhh! don't let the secret out! I caught those on a weighted streamer. I tried beads and flesh with nothing doing. The day before it was sculpins. Lets go Pete, It'll be my treat.

Little fresh water action
I recently came home for vacation while I'm between jobs. A little late in the season for me to hit the salt plus I don't have a boat anymore. So I decided to hit a few local creeks for grayling and rainbows. I had great success catching 20 inch rainbows one day and the next catching rainbows. It se...

Re: Harbercraft - Kingfisher
Thanks for the info! I totally agree that they do look nice. Looks like the hull was copied from major offshore boat companies. I walked around one at the boat show a few years ago the interior was really nice, way to nice for me ( I usually can't have nice things)

What Pete said. Depending on size and price range you can get a custom boat for the price of there 2825/3050.
Pete, what's wrong with there 33's? Purely out of curiosity.

Gents,
Thanks for all the replies, since I'm day dreaming looking for a perfect boat since I'm over here killing time. Does anyone know about or know anyone who owns a wolf boat?

Re: Alloy Question
I was looking at twin 300's they recommend twin 250's at a minimum. The only down side is it is a 2009 and I can't find any other info on the builder.
