Re: Hull Floatation
I have been told that many commercial boats fill their below deck voids with empty soda and water bottles with the caps screwed back on to create cheap and functional flotation. I would like to hear any thoughts on that subject. How many empty gallon jugs would you need to compensate for the weight ...

Re: Cool 30' on eBay
Nice, kind of a tough sell as it looks to have no berth area but huge cabin and huge cockpit makes for a nice day boat I think it does have a berth. Look at the helm picture...there is a step down on the port side. They more and need bigger pictures. I always wonder why a boat this new is up for sa...

There is a guy in Ohio with a 20 that is only a couple years old. Ask Jay. The boat had a port side door.

Re: Hull Floatation
My pacific 23 was custom built and has no flotation. I am the second owner and would have not built it that way, but now I like it without foam. A little noisier , but also a little lighter and faster and I have tons of storage space below deck. Less safe? Only in a sudden capsize and I carry a raft...

I went out for some local bass and bottom feeders last week and got lots. Kept these few and tossed the others back to the sea.

I have a Minn Kota on my Crestliner but I forget which model. It has the foot controller and works very well.

Re: Newest Koffler Build Pics Coming @ You!!!
Looks tough as nails! I like the idea of the gas up front to keep the bow down. I also like the removable tanks. I wish that my crestliner didn't have a built in tank so I could just pull the tanks out up and bring them to the sunoco. That boat is GREAT!!! I would love it for coastal fishing and lob...

No...I do remember that boat. It is a beaut and very capable in a days range. I am surprised it is for sale to upgrade so soon. I would like a bigger boat too...but to make a lifestyle/fish style difference I need to go way bigger to an Armstrong, Coldwater, NDI, Rocksalt, or Bevan DownUnder AMF Kic...

Re: 2007 Pacific 23 WA HT
This is the same boat that was listed here. Great boat, just wanting something bigger. Boat is ready to go ! Just needs a new owner. Peterbo3 and I were were out a year of so ago in my Pacific 2325 and the wind picked up strong when we were about 50 miles from home. It was pretty slow going, but we...

I was thinking the same thing, SB. I will say that it would be the only plastic boat that I would ever consider. Way out of my price range, though. Here they are in stealth mode: http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t298/pschilke/DSC01121.jpg Coldwater can make one just like that out of proper materi...
