Re: 24 Almar S/R
Thanks for sharing the fish Pics. I missed Bob on the 3rd--but we did not arrive until late in the day. we had 20k winds the until the morning of the 7th--so it was slow fishing. We did make it out to Swiftsure--and I had to convince Pops he could not join the big group of boats we saw--because they...

Re: fishin for buts
Hey Adrian:
I did see where we could get a Canadian fishing license on line and print it out on our end. I was not sure about heading straight back home after taking some fish . . . would we need to actually pull in to a BC marina before we went home?
Cheers!

fishin for buts
I'm sitting at home today, wishing I was fishing. But, small craft advisory means we stay at the dock for the last halibut opening. We did manage to get out for the mid-may halibut opener and got two. Here is me and Pops with one around 28lbs.

Re: raider 2484 question
Harcher: We got a 24 foot riverhawk alloy boat a year ago--so it is somewhat similar to the raider--perhaps slightly heavier. Our previous boat was a 21 arima and the riverhawk was a big step up for us. I think you would be happy with a 24 alloy--compared to your current 20 footer. you are welcome t...

I don't know if it will work for you--but we have a carpeted dashboard. We stick clear, single-layer plano boxes to the dashboard with velcro. it is slick. You can change out the boxes depending on your target species.

Hey Guys:
J Simpson has plans for a 21 Cat. It has a cabin--but I would guess it is not a huge endeavor to remove the top. He is not too far away in BC.
A link to his site is below.

Neah Bay in new boat
Hi all: We are very happy with the new boat. It performed flawlessly on our trip to Neah Bay. We found the fish out at swifsure bank. It was loaded with schools of big fat herring. we got 11 salmon over two days including 8 chinook. No trophies, the biggest was around 15 pounds caught by my brother ...
