Re: trim

all you may need to do is tighten up the trim hold screw on the side of motor. there is a screw on the side to loosen to enable the motor to be manually tilted. This screw may have loosened up and does not hold as well. I just went through the same issue on my 225. Honda trim pumps very rarely go bad.

Pacific faulty fuel gauge help

My fuel gauge has been reading full and not going down even when it has only 20 gallons left in the tank. Has anyone ever experienced this? Is the sending unit faulty or may their be a float in the tank that may be stuck? This first started happening this season after winter layup.I fill the tank fo...

Re: Question for fellow pacific owners

After looking things over I think the rigging tube for the outboard controls for the outboard might be the problem. In rough water I think their may be some water getting in at the flange on the transom.I am going to spray this with a garden hose to see if this is the culprit.Mine has ben wet since I...

Re: Black Lab Marine

jeff, The main reason for moving the cc forward is to provide more room in the back of the boat. Most of my fishing is trolling, and we work off the back.I am not sure if this is an option on the 19ft model, but it would not hurt to ask pacific. My trailer is a roller trailer.I am happy with the trai...

Re: Black Lab Marine

Jeff, Yes I have trim tabs on my boat.I did not have them put on when I ordered my boat. After 2 seasons I broke down and installed a set of lenco's.This was a great move, the boat handles 100% better with the tabs.I would highly recomend them. When running in various wave conditions you can hold the ...
