all you may need to do is tighten up the trim hold screw on the side of motor. there is a screw on the side to loosen to enable the motor to be manually tilted. This screw may have loosened up and does not hold as well. I just went through the same issue on my 225. Honda trim pumps very rarely go bad.

I would highly recomend Canyon Runner Sportfishing out of point pleasant New Jersey.I have fished with them several times the past couple of years.These guys are the best hands down when it comes to putting lots of fish in the box.They have 2 boats a 48 viking and a 62 ritchie howe.

After looking things over I think the rigging tube for the outboard controls for the outboard might be the problem.In rough water I think their may be some water getting in at the flange on the transom.I am going to spray this with a garden hose to see if this is the culprit.Mine has ben wet since I...
