May be selling 23 Cope. Wanted to post here first.

I may be selling this beautiful boat and I wanted to post here first. It's been a excellent year of fishing. I absolutely love this boat and have countless hours into its construction. As you can see from following the build here on this forum it's a 2012 23 foot Cope winter Harbour. The motor is a ...

Learned to weld Aluminum started a side buisiness welding and marketing Pacific Boats in Hawaii. I say side buisiness because my primary job was being a paramedic. Did that for 10 years ove...

So the build is now complete... I tried to get the pics up here on AAB but after downloading them all the files were too big. I will try again later but for now they can be viewed on my Facebook site under Bonsell Welding. Check it out. The Build went well and I am very pleased with the design. I ha...

Re: Cope Winter Harbor build

I was going to weld s 3 inch pipe under the deck. But I decided to run it along the starbird gunnel. There is a lot of room under them and I figure the straighter the path to the motor the better. Lots of welding gone today snap probably another 10 hours tomorrow.

Re: Cope Winter Harbor build

I'm running a MIG gun. Miller's push pull system. I will be firing up the TIG for some choice interior beads soon. I have been amazed with the Accuracy that this pre cut boat is designed with. won't be long till she is on the trailer.

Re: Cope Winter Harbor build

Well put Welder. The reason I ask is I have heard some discussion about the non VTEC 200 being more efficient than the VTEC 225 or 250. I haven't seen the GPH numbers to compare. Something to do with the activation of the VTEC at a certain RPM and fuel consumption drastically increasing at that poin...

Cope Winter Harbor build

Hello everyone. I am going to be starting a build this week of the Cope 23 Winter Harbour. After a lot of research I decided this is the boat for me. I am a Pacific North West boater and the cut alloy is waiting for pick up at Alaskan Copper. My first forum question to pose is whether to power this ...

Re: 25' Alloy Build

Yes, Bruce Cope sent the cut files to Alaskan Copper and It should be getting cut right now. I'm hoping to pick it all up on Friday. Re: 25' Alloy Build

Thank you for the very informative posts of your build. You do beautiful work. I will be starting a build as well in a couple of weeks and will post the status. I purchased the plans for the Cope 23 so its not made from scratch like your build but should be a nice boat when finished. I am interested...

Aluminum Boston Whaler

I went salmon fishing this morning and was coming through Agate pass and saw an Alloy Boston Whaler that looked like a 21 Guardian. Has anyone ever heard of this Whaler being made commercially?

Seeing those pics makes me miss her, (especially during salmon season) we went through a lot together. Someone is going to get a great boat. I like all the mods you made to her. I have since bought a little 15 foot Arima sea hunter, yeah I know its not alloy but its paid for and the fish don't the d...

My condolences....
