Nice work John sorry about the rod ! I will be in Westport for the WTC going to help out and display the Duckworth (they are paying for expenses) probably fish Tuna on Sunday with Harold or Salmon on my boat see you down there

I tried to convert the files at first and it didn't work but when I did a "save as" file it worked

found out I needed to convert my files to Garmin .adm downloaded a free program and saved the .fsh files to .adm and imported them into my new Garmin worked great :clap:

convert Raymarine waypoints to Garmin

I switched to Garmin electronics on the new ride I would like to convert my Raymarine points .fsh files to Garmin .gdb I also have a .xls file I made from the Raymarine files I tried GpsBabel but that didn't work any computer geeks out there ?

John I am in the process of hooking up my Yamaha's to my Garmin had some wrong info from the Garmin reps at the boat show they said I needed fuel flow meters on both motors. :hammer: I talked with Todd with Portland electronics at the sportsman show and the 2006 and newer yamaha's have the nmea 2000...

picked up the boat in September and took off for Anacortes for the weekend. The Duckworth ran great on the way home hit 50 mph southerly winds wow was a challenge but she handled great will post fishing pics in new post. Thanks for waking me up! :clap:

I have a Duckworth 26 OS and have not had any problems and I had my boat in the marina for 4 months and would rinse out the back deck after each use. Sounds like you rear deck is not sealed had a little water in the hold but not enough to run the bildge.

The Raymarine did not work well the pump is way to small and would not track for trolling it shut down under 3 knots. On the new boat I was going to have the rear steer station control the mains and use a Tr-1 for the kicker but we set up the rear station to steer and control the kicker saved me a l...

should be here today they will be painting the bottom and installing electronics the rear station will only steer and run kicker they wanted a lot more $ to control mains at rear station and will not be installing a tr-1 I want to see how I like the rear station and will add auto pilot later. going ...

One more picture before it gets delivered tomorrow they forgot the middle window was supposed to open without a wiper but they screwed up so I get an opening window and a wiper

Jay I have A Trollmaster Pro Troll 2 on the kicker to control it at the helm. http://www.controllking.com/ here is another manufacture of kicker speed Control. Mine has burned out two Servos. Different strokes for different folks. Fuel capacity is king up here. We do a lot of extended trips and very few day trips. For a day boat chasing tuna, the smaller tank and bigger fish hold makes sense, but for me and my "troutless" adventures, I will take the fuel. Shoot, I have three 1...
