Re: Pacific boat sides.
Definitely not normal IMO, I have an '05 and it still looks really good, that almost looks like it was corroded previously.

Re: New boat not so new anymore
That's terrible, shows how tuff the boat is however, could have been so much worse. Did you buy it back from the insurance company where you said the boat is a total loss?

Pacific are all self bailing, also a big plus IMO the sole is aluminum.

Re: WTB, 20 or 23 pacific in Northeast
Contact One3 boats, https://www.one3powerboats.com he makes a nice boat and I would guess you could have one built for the same price as a used Pacific, where you are looking for 6 months out delivery shouldn't be a problem.

Re: Corrosion on kicker anode only
That is surprising, mine is bolted on, pretty easy to change it out, I switched to aluminum a few years ago. Neither motor or hull anodes show any wear, I left my in the water for a month last summer in fresh water.

Re: Corrosion on kicker anode only
How does the hull anode attach? If it is zinc I would consider changing it to aluminum, I believe I read on here that aluminum anodes are preferred for aluminum hulls.

Re: Canvas snaps?
Stainless with Tefgel would be the best if you have to use snaps, if there is any way not to like mounting a small cleat and running lines from the curtain to them. IMO I would avoid snaps at all cost if possible.

Looks mint, interesting how the rigging goes from the console then to the deck and down the side in a pipe.

Re: Cover Snaps for Aluminum Hulls
I would say a liberal coating of Tef-gel on the SS and you should be okay, I have SS bolts threaded in my gunnels for my rod holders that have been fine for 10 years.

I believe I have my Pacific wheel somewhere I took off my boat, you can have it, I will try and find it, I think it is in decent shape.

Trolling motor for Pacific 1925
Thinking of adding a trolling to my Pacific 1925, if you have a trolling motor on a 1925 or 2025, what size do you have shaft length and ft/lbs of power. I am looking at a Minn Kota Riptide, I would like the PowerDrive but they only come up to 54" shaft length which may not be long enough, may ...

I think I have read it will work with thin aluminum boats, like Lunds but not on thicker hulls like your boat or similar.

Re: FOUR Pacific V1925 at auction
Wow, that's pretty cool, be interested to see what they sell for, I have a 1925 I had powered with a Honda 90 up until earlier this year, it is no speed demon but performed okay, top speed was 36mph, cruised around 22mph or so very comfortably.

Re: WTB Pacific 2175
2175 is a really cool boat, it is basically a shortened 2325, has the same beam, side height and dead rise as the 2325. I do not think they have made too many of them, pretty rare, be tough to find used.
