If you are in Boston, take a tour of Boston Harbor or a whale watch. Boats leave from the pier next to the Aquarium downtown.

Re: Salt Water fishing license

It is being rammed down our throats by NOAA. NOAA enacted regulations that says if states don't enact a state saltwater fishing license, that fishers will have to get a federal license instead. NOAA claims that the purpose of the license is to allow them to more accurately determine the harvest by r...

And if you or I did this instead of NOAA, I can just imagine the response from Coast Guard, NOAA, etc. -- time for a maritime attorney. But when they do it, it is simply "an unfortunate occurrence." :banghead: SUPER DITTO -do as I SAY!!!!!! not as I do. - the motto of the federal/state gov...

They are the same boats. Pacific builds the boats. Black Lab sells Pacific boats on the east coast, but they are all built in WA.

There were two pilots in the cockpit, working together as a team. We don't know who was the on the controls, but that doesn't really matter -- there was plenty of work to go around. Captain: Chesley B. “Sully” Sullenberger III Co-pilot: Jeffrey Skiles They both deserve accolades. In the unlikely eve...

Re: Rock Salt 26' Pilothouse - Thoughts?

I like it. Can't afford it, but I like it. I prefer a forward slanted windshield -- less heat buildup in the cabin, more room for overhead electronics, etc. The other big thing for spousal acceptance factor would be a stand-up, enclosed head. But until I win lotto :banghead: I don't need fish-around...

In the first picture are those grapes???????? I did not know New York could grow those. There are quite a few wineries along the banks of the Finger Lakes: http://www.fingerlakeswinecountry.com/ Most are quite small and most of their production stays in NY state. Quite a few of them make excellent ...

I can't see why anyone would not want to return and live there. Just awesome stuff. Central NY is very, very pretty. I loved the place when I was there. DAMN!!!! You are good! The gorge is Letchworth...just south of Rochester. Right again on the 4th picture. The fact that you spelled it is even more impressive. During my 5 1/2 years at Cornell, I spent 6 months at Xerox in Rochester on a Co-op assignment. I think several of us went to Letchworth on...

Is the 4th picture Taughannock Falls? We used to take the rim trail to the top of the falls and look over the edge... The 3rd picture looks familiar. Isn't that a gorge just south of Rochester? 6th looks like Watkins Glen. And the 8th is, of course, Fall Creek in Ithaca, specifically Triphammer Fall...
