Re: My big catch- a 6' salmon (really)

Love that salmon decal. Boat graphics can be a bit pricey but when they're done right it's well worth the money. Your boat certainly "pops" now with that image.

Re: 23' custom aluminum pilothouse restore. Builder???

My title (from California) says "SPCNS" which is short for specialty construction. I believe this is the generic label on a title for a boat/trailer/vehicle with no specific make or model. Like I mentioned earlier, this boat has changed hands at least 5 times and the only story that I got ...

Re: 23' custom aluminum pilothouse restore. Builder???

Thanks for the replies so far guys. Unfortunately there is no HIN or any identifying marker anywhere on the boat. Here's a few more pics of the restore/repower at different angles, perhaps someone will recognizer her. You guys rock! Scott 7.jpg 4.jpg IMG_20141123_085000_265.jpg IMG_20141123_084939_7...

Re: Interesting Canadian skiffs

Cool little rig right there. I love the kicker motor bracket already built in. I would have loved to have one of those on our new rig.

Re: Repowering to twin 200s?

Have you considered twin Honda BF 225's? They weigh the same as the Honda 200's, plus the (obvious) added 50 horses you gain in those twin engines. Just a thought.

I love my new Honda 225 (pushes my sled like a bat out of hell).

Re: 20ft pacific skiff

Those Pacific's are sweet looking rigs and look super safe. You've got to love the steep (topside) walls in heavy seas. I definitely agree with previous posts, looks super stout and sturdy.

This project is looking great, I love the green console. That will really stick out in poor visibility/conditions.

23' custom aluminum pilothouse restore. Builder???

GRAYLIGHT (newly named) is a custom, double hulled 23' aluminum pilothouse that was originally born in the Pacific Northwest as a harbor patrol boat back in 1989 (this is what we have been told by the previous owner, and the boat has changed hands at least 5 times since new). Naturally she came to u...
