Could any one shed any light on jet drives-any input on advantages or disadvantages? Winninghoff ( Alloy ) and Hinkley ( glass ) build with Hamilton jets In this area . lots of boats hit some of the thousands of lobster pot lines and damage shafts and props . The jet drives over these obstacles . b...

you can't reason with a jetty wolf Jay , his ford pickup truck came with out a radio from the factory , he's been trying for over ten years to get someone in Detroit to come down to Jacksonville FL. and install a radio that should have been installed at the factory . they should have realized that h...

Re: Boating magazine test of Pacifc 23' Supertop

I have not been on a 23 ST , have but have tested 23 HT with 225 Honda power touching 50 mph with 4 people on board and a 23 with 250 Suzuki power with 2 people exceeds that speed easily . I tested a 26ST with 300 Suzuki power that went over 50 mph nicely in a good chop , all speeds were ground spee...

Danforth is a type of anchor . Super Hooker is your brand . PFD is personal floatation device ,life ring , life vest ,life Jacket ,Inflatable vest , etc . = survival gear if that anchor rode gets wrapped around your ankles and you go over in that warm water , it won't be hypothermia that worries you...

Re: 4/19 - and number "252"

After 25 years you'd think you know a Danforth when you see one . that is for mud and sand in these parts. We use anchors made of round stock J style that collapse for hard bottom and rocks . That's some wicked " white caps " you got there ,where is your survival gear Capt. ? Vest or anothe...

Flow rate on pump is to fast for your setup , Find and old station to fill at with slower pumps or fill up in the Royal River our pump has a manual butterfly valve to slow down pump flow rates . big boats need large quantities fast and smaller (you) tanks can't handle 50 gallon per min rates or more...

Now it's starting to look better ... but there is still room for improvement .. that slipping(sic) that some one spoke of earlier ... the smaller diameter of your wheel combined with the 14 pitch makes for a great hole shot but you still need more bite . that motor is not working at all ,no load on ...

All these replies are pointing in the same direction . 26 ' boats with Hard tops and v26wa's is a pilot house . with less or equal hp having higher speeds than you have achieved so far. Just my thoughts hmmmm . go back where you purchased that power and explain the situation ( you are maxed out at 3...

14 degree prop ? sorry I'm a bit perplexed . props are rated by inches of thrust through the water per shaft rotation . 14 would travel 14 inches per revolution in theory . 15 - 15 inches and so on . the boat and motor combinations like yours that I am familiar with would be in the 19 - 21 inch ( pi...
