Re: Good-bye Marty

First, I send my condolences to his family! The first time I met Marty - I was working the shimano booth at one of the largest shows here in the northeast. I was one year into my proud purchase of my 23 foot black lab and this guy rolled in with photos of his custom built beast. I was shocked but ex...

Re: new to this site new to BOE Marine

Hopefully that helps you down there. I have a striped bass & bobber article coming out soon that will be down in that edition t...

Re: Dave and Jay and Marty from Montauk-

Thanks Guys- I sent some pix today to Jay at Black Lab. Maybe he can post them here. They are from my boat (of another 38 or 40 foot glass boat with trips) while duking it out in 5 and 6 footers inside Raritan Bay this past spring. We ended the day with 40 some odd 30 pound bass. One of those days t...

Dave and Jay and Marty from Montauk-

I finally made it here. I hope I have some insight for those looking. I have a 23 foot 3/4 with a 200 Mercury Optimax. Since buying, I have added a bunch of stuff so maybe my trials and errors can help.

See you on the Water!
