Still here and still looking.

Hey Crew! Well it's been a while since I've been on here and I'm still looking for a small full enclosed boat to run the Mississippi river! We still have Izona and she is ready to go, but I want another smaller boat for me and the dog!! There has got to be an 18 to 20 foot crew boat sitting around n...

Good-bye Marty

Good-bye Marty, although we never met I sure enjoyed our conversations about my Wife's boat Izona. Marty Really welcomed me into this group and made me feel right at home. My Father, who we lost a few years back was a fisherman and I'm sure will be waiting for Marty. I pray for you to find calm wate...

Well, that is a good question! I'm looking for something with a hardtop. It cannot be over 18' long. Cannot have over 100 hp. Cannot be over 84" wide!! I belong to a boating association that has inside storage and am allowed one stall. With Izona and my 4 door duel-wheel pickup in the shop, I w...

Re: Boat & Motor Year by Serial Numbers???

Hey Crew. Well, I sure appreciate all the help but this rig is off the list. Going to keep looking for a small hard top. Thought this might save a little money but I'd just end up trading it in the spring. No maintenance records at all, and it would not start when we put it in the river. "I'll ...

The New Guy's Wife's Boat!

Hey Crew.
Thought I might try and show you a shot of my Wife's boat. I designed it for use on the Mississippi River and we had it custom built by Kann Mfg. in Guttenburg Iowa. It's 100% aluminum with 1/4" bottom, 3/16" sides and 1/8" cabin. 220hp Merc I/O. Hope you like her!!
