Re: Posting photo's from Photobucket
As I see it, the problem is with hosted pics (eg, Photobucket), the phpBB software isn't allowing them to be resized and gives the 600 pixel error. It used to work fine but since the change it's not working. The hosting fee for Photobucket doesn't seen to kick-in if you have a low view count on your...

Posting photo's from Photobucket
Hi,
Keep getting this message when trying to post updates.... "Your images may only be up to 600 pixels high."
Thought they were/did auto resize ?? Not had a problem before.
Thanks

Re: Harbercraft 18' fit out
Got the engine hung using a jacking plate due to the transom being for a short leg OB. http://i946.photobucket.com/albums/ad306/Landy_Andy/Harbercraft%20boat%20build/7BE6E012-8810-4574-933C-A312D0974361_zpspezdyza8.jpg Finished off the 'top hat' mount for the concealed remote. http://i946.photobucke...

Re: Floatation Foam in an Aluminum Boat used in Saltwater
I'm looking to replace the spray in foam in my hull too, any idea if this type of product is available in NA ?

So far only source I've found for blocks in Aus & NZ.... so, it'd have to be air freight

Re: Harbercraft 18' fit out
Did a little over the last week or so... add two motor well boots, go the dash cut/helm mounted and trimmed out the remote mounting plate for fitting the Evinrude concealed remote on a custom top hat mount. http://i946.photobucket.com/albums/ad306/Landy_Andy/Harbercraft%20boat%20build/IMG_0931_zpsv6...

Harbercraft 18' fit out
Thought I'd post a few pic's here of the ongoing work to fit out of my recently acquired Harbercraft 18'Adventurer. So, the starting point is the bare hull I purchased a few weeks ago. http://i946.photobucket.com/albums/ad306/Landy_Andy/Harbercraft%20boat%20build/3505A66B-12B3-4A12-9493-7512929CC54B...

Anyone running either the Centric 1 or 2 seats, looking at them for my project build. Thoughts & comments ?
Thanks !

Re: Joined From BC, interior
So, I'm thinking that I could cut some 1.5" angle and weld it to the underside of the diamond plate decking so it sat between the frames. This would give good stiffness and be easy to weld up. For securing the deck down I was going to use 316 machine screws into st.st rivnuts set into the tops ...

Re: Joined From BC, interior
Hi Chaps, yes it had ply decking in from factory. I had thought of that and once cleaned up I was thinking of adding in some additional support between the frames or directly onto the back of the floor plates to sit between the frame rails. I have CAD (Solidworks & AutoCAD) and access to water j...

Re: Joined From BC, interior
Thanks, first task is to clean it out & remove the old adhesive from the EPE flotation foam. Then get the motor mounted to free up my gantry hoist in the shop. Am thinking pool noodles & a diamond plate deck with bed liner finish for durability.

Hi, Joined up as I've just purchased a project boat. I live in the BC interior and have been tinkering with 4x4's for many years and have a heavily modified Land Rover Defender 100" being built in my shop. So, the boat is a 18' Harbercraft 'Adventurer', it's a bare hull that appears to have bee...
