As far as the rod and reels go,,,I just let them air dry. I guess you could wipe them off, or blow them off with a air hose if you have one.

After a charter, Ill spray mine down with Dawn dish soap mixed with water and then rinse.
I had a chemist on my boat one day tell me that dawn is good to use on salt.
Been using it for about five years now.....I spray it on everything. Boat motor and trailer.

Yea,,,I went today in the wind and rain and fished the out going tide. I had two guys from Canada that had to go fishing before the return back to the cold. Dave,,,,The two guys I had in the boat the other day that work for Berkley were from Europe.

He was telling me about some of the Carp tournaments they have over there,,,,,It was crazy!

Ha-Ha-Ha,,,I like the red beads,,,that is "Old School". Most people say the bead saves the knots,,,but if the hole in the bead is to small,,it slams into the knot anyway. But like you said,,,,it still works. I use that set-up my self out at the jettys in the deep water, and use a lot of me...
