Re: Custom Accessory Fabrication Kitsap/Olympic Peninsula
Julie turned me on to Aalbu Brothers in Smokey Point 425-252-9751. It’s a drive for me - or a few ferry rides. I would rather work with someone closer to Kitsap. But in all honesty I would drive hours for the right shop.

Custom Accessory Fabrication Kitsap/Olympic Peninsula
Good morning forum! I have a 1925 Pacific that I’m looking to add additional rod holders, downrigger mounts, anchor box and mount and possibly a ladder or swim door. Looking for a welder/designer willing to help make this happen. I live near Silverdale WA and I’m open to any ideas on how to add thes...

Forbidden - Using an Alloy Boat as an electrical ground - Causes Corrosion
I've attached a few photos of corrosion that is occurring all over my boat. In talking with pacific I can't tell if its from poor electrical connections or just general neglect. In doing a little electrical checking I found that there are three wires coming off the negative terminal of the battery. ...

Re: Lubricant for rubber deck gaskets
Deck Hatches secured! I used Corrosion Block initially to clean the old corrosion out and prepare the surface. I also soaked the SS fasteners in corrosion block to clean them up. I then used Tef-Gel on all the fasteners and and gasket (rkanner - I think its just glues surgical tubing too, but I boug...

Resurfacing Aluminum Boat.
After years of getting put into docks, rocks and beaches the sides of the boat are looking fairly beat up with scratches and light oxidation/corrosion. I’m wondering what it would take to restore the boat back to its “nearly” original smooth surface. Any thoughts?

Re: Lubricant for rubber deck gaskets
Never seen those hatches on a Pacific before, I believe they used Armstrong 8" deck hatches from the factory. These are the deck hatches (Vice transom inspection hatches) used since at least 2014. This is located near centerline in the aft deck area. I cant speak to other hulls. I imagine they...

Lubricant for rubber deck gaskets
It’s been mentioned that Pacific Boats deck gaskets, provided for the Fraser Bronze Foundry deck inspection hatch, breakdown and fail causing water to enter the hull. This is especially of concern when it’s raining and the deck is unable to drain fully because the bow is not elevated enough to facil...

Carpet Bunk to Roller Conversion EZ Loader 1925 Pacific
I have a an EZ Loader 3700 single axel trailer with carpeted bunks for a 1925 Pacific. I reading these forum its recommended to switch to rollers. I'd like to do the work myself and covert the bunks to rollers and while I'm at it re-build the hubs and brakes. Does anyone have pointers or recommendat...
