Re: 2007 Pacific/ Black Lab 26

Dave ....the Suzies have a great warrany.....best of luck......There is nothing out there that is bullitproof. Each has its very own ghost. All have to be babied in one way or another. My whole package is still perect and very reliable. I just treat it like I cannot afford to replace it it and she n...

Water In Fuel !

Hi All ! I will keep this short and sweet ! I have had to diagnose no less than 6 boats this season with continous water in fuel issues. One was actual contaminated fuel that was pumped into the boat all the rest were found to be poor condition of the O ring seal in the filler housings ! If you cont...

Re: Alloy Tourney Get Together

I think it would be nice .....Never really got the alloy crowd together yet in RI. Lets see we have Clambo, Alloy Toy, Tin Cup, Occams Razor that are all Pacifics and I know there are others as I have seen them out on both the bay and open water. Matbe we could gather the guys and gals together and ...

Alloy Tourney Get Together

We kick this idea around now and then . We have a few good Alloy Capts here in RI. Maybe we can plan one of the inshore

events to attend together sometime. Just a idea ......One of the Fluke events or Stiper events . Could be fun

Re: Rookie propper

Jetty: You are either carrying alot of weight , or something is wrong . Your boat is much like mine and OR is pretty fast and get on plane pretty easy. You should have a tech check for full fuel flow , make sure your timing belt is on correctly and check engine compression. You should try your hull ...

Re: Rookie propper

Props: Jetty ......first of all you have to figure how much weight you are haulin. Your hull is similar to mine and we have the very same high rake prop. When I start to load the hull up with weight she does not come out of the hole as quick. However I still get 5800 RPM up on plane. Also you will f...

Re: East coast canyon tuna trip

Jetty: Stick with RP and you will not be sorry believe me. Its is really good stuff.... There are others but pure race oil and double the price . If you were going to run you engine to the pin under full load all the time I would recommend going a step up . But you will notice a huge difference in t...

Re: East coast canyon tuna trip

Anyhow back to the Canyon talk. If its anyones first outing on the edge I deffinately suggest you go out on either a charter or one of the 100 ' Cattle boats (limited ) trips. You truely have to learn the ropes to be sucessfull. Time up and time on the bunk are criticle ! The ride out should be just...

Re: WIND IS HOWLING!!!!!!!

Jigging Master reels have earned a strong rep in Japan and among tuna jiggers . Service can be a issue when parts are needed. Strong design and many feature anti reverse dog design which makes them very favorable for all out bouts with big tuna using the very strong jigging rod designs from overseas...

Re: That Time Is Apon Us Again !

Hi All !

Hmmm saw a large alloy being pulled out of Tyler Point in Providence the other day . Did not look like a Pacific ....
It was a I/O powered hull with a alloy pilot house on it . Looked pretty neat but older . Pulled out and went onto 195 west .

Anyone know ?
