I use 3M adhesive remover it doesn't harm paint or plastic.

I have read the book I wish I could have met the man. The rest of you Wooldridge boys are not too bad either.

I want a bow thruster.
I have been looking at the different options for putting on a bow thruster. Tunnel, External bolt on or jet? The jet seems interesting but the one I saw was very expensive and sold in England. I like the idea of an electric jet. Sideshift makes a bolt on but I don't know how that will work since I t...

Re: Sliding VS Hinged Doors
A hinged door won't be so likely to freeze shut when water gets in the sliding channel of a sliding door and freezes it won't open. I looked at your location just sayn.

Re: Your are pulling the trigger, what must your boat have?
Myself I do not like vertical rod holders on or near the stern or anywhere in the fishing area unless when you reach the fishing grounds all rods are being fished. Where we fish in the Northwest we fish for species that can run you around the boat and under the boat anything like a rod sticking up c...

Re: Custom 23' Wooldridge Offshore Pilothouse
Very nice I see some of my handy work on that boat. It is a real pleasure working with these guys building a boat they make you feel like their job is building you the boat of your dreams and not just collecting your money. I had another boat company build me a boat before working with Wooldridge an...

Re: Help
Hole saw or you could use a knockout tool if you can get to the inside through any other access if it is a blind hole with no access the knockout tool won't work. If you can use a knockout tool you only need a small pilot hole to make the big hole because it works like a punch and you would have muc...

Re: Dual station kicker throttle control
I have a TR-1 Autopilot on a T-8 and I installed a control at the helm and one in the fishing cockpit the kicker is a tiller control so it can also be ran at the motor. The TR-1 is now owned by Garmin. I just added a second control cable and control they also make a wireless remote for this system b...

I think kill bags work better than coolers because you are not cooling a bunch of dead space,

Re: Custom 21' Wooldridge offshore center console
Is that a Yamaha Kicker? Nice boat! Do I see Starboard hatch covers on the aft section under the bait station? I will answer since I made them and the table yes it is seaboard and the hatches were custom made for this boat. This boat also sports my sliding rail system if you look close at the hand ...

Re: Koffler Bay Bee's?
Thanks. I was worried about build quality. I have been spoiled with that EdWing, it's built like a brick s-house. IMHO a Koffler is a better built boat than an Edwing. Koffler's are still being built they are a small family business that turn out nice boats. Ed of Edwing no longer builds sport boat...

Re: 5052 Should I look elsewhere
Actually shooting with a gun is a very poor method to prove the point as no matter what they are both going to have a hole after the shot. A press with a controlled force is a much better test and would prove the point. 5083 and 5086 are both harder than 5052 that is a fact and I am not saying a 505...

Re: Swivel rod Holder ?
I am working on a new design for some aluminum rod holders that I think will be very functional but I am away off from having a working prototype and finished product. They will work much like the plastic rod holders made by many companies but mine are machined from 1/2" 6061 T-6 aluminum. They...

Planning a SE AK trip June.
I am planning another trip to Ketchikan, AK in June and seeing if anyone is interested in buddy boating with us. I am not looking to fill my boat I think it is filled but it would be great to have another crew along as a buddy boat. I have all the info and I can fill you in I have made this trip tow...

Re: 5052 Should I look elsewhere
I have to disagree on some of the comments made about 5052. 5052 Al is softer than 5083 or 5086 that is a fact but to call it inferior is not true it depends on your use in fact if I were to run a boat into a rock I would rather it be made from 5052 you are more apt to have a huge dent as opposed to...

Re: Almost new boat and new to the forum
Cutting it in half and adding on seems radical but they do it quit often to large commercial boats so if it is done right it should be fine. I will say if I were to spend the money to cut it in half I would add 4 feet I doubt it would cost any more.
