Re: My 26" Pacific / Black Lab is Sold
The boat will be under tow to S.C. on Sunday afternoon. I believe that she will spend most of her time there however the company is nationwide & I wouldnt be suprised to see her anywhere.

Its a great group of guys that own/work for this company from all over the U.S. I'm sure that she will be a hard working fantastic work platform for many, ma...

Re: Opinions on my next project
I agree Jetty, however the cabin model has a TON of storage under the seats & helm. More than I need. That being said, I think the extra "security" may be worth keeping ? I appreciate your input !

Re: Opinions on my next project
Thanks for the info CTMD, that is what the previous owner told me but I questioned it. Having a boat that wont sink or flip is a great asset to offshore fishing ! I hope I will never have to test this theory. I think with your info & Alloy's weld in rod holder idea I have a the answer. However I...

Opinions on my next project
As many of you know , my boat is actively for sale. In this economy, I think I'll still have her next year. My thoughts are to remove the rear bait station & apply non-skid where it came out. I also want to cut open gunnel openings for storage and to install flush mount rod holders. Just like th...

Re: Oak Bluffs Shark Touranment
I just got back from fishing the OB tournry. I talked to a crew member of the boat that sank. He said 1 wave cracked all the glass & the next he thought cracked the hull , the cockpit filled up with water. The boat was a 29' Luhrs. I made it 3 miles south of MV & turned around. By far the ro...

Barnacles growing with bottom paint ?
There seems to be tiny white dots growing on my newly painted (with Trilux 33) hull. More on one side that the other ? I'm not sure they are barnacles, they brush right off the side. I'm concerned about the bottom ? Could these be barnacles ? Something else ? Normal ? The boat has only been in about...

I got them from Jay before. He drop ships from Washington. I see comparable size zincs on boatzincs.com for 12-15 bucks. Having them shipped from WA. is about $45+.

Is there a local supplier for Pacific hull zincs
I know that I can order them from Pacific, but I haven't seen them in West Marine or Boat Zincs.com. Any idea where I can pick up a few local to Mass or the Northeast ?
