smelled gasoline in the bilge and had to take a closer look. Seems the gasket around this fixture has seen its days. Pic attached. Looked a little closer and it seems like it has oxides to the point that there might be small holes. i Don't want to remove the fixture to change the gasket as of now so...

I put one in last year. Bent a c-shape out of aluminum. Attached bilge pump . Than self taped it to the hole thats already down there. I leave the hose in there and pull it out the deck hatch when i need to use it.

I think i got the right name. Its the covers that go over the bilge. Have anyone of you change them over to anything else or just replacing them every couple of years. Looking for a better product to hold the water out.

Tuna threw tuna door. Pacific 23'?

Just wondering if anyone has pulled a 500lb + tuna threw the tuna door. Does it put the scuppers and engine under water. What do u guys think is the best way to bring one aboard is. What else do u need to be able to go out after oct first, Epirb life raft survival suits? Just curios.

Just bought the tm260 and been out twice and im losing bottom at high speeds over 10knt. I had it maybe an inch under the hull and than moved it about an 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch over. talked to dan over at pacific. he told me on all new boats they weld a bracket down there and screw the bilge pump to it. i have a piece of aluminum they sent me years ago. im going to make a bracket and bolt it down there . I will post pics of my trial. Sjd will post pics as soon as i go to my boat.

I have A 2005 23' hardtop. 90% of the time no water in there. On ruff days 3-5 footers i get some water in there. I think it comes from the brackets on the back. Replaced them and it worked. I also have seen water in the back where the wash down pump is so i unscrewed the 1/4 screw so the water drai...

When u open the hatch theres a bracket w/hole cut out. Do u put the pump right inside the hole? How do u screw it in? Where do u run the hose? thanx

Dave im not saying their will be cracks, but i know on mine there have been some. i have a 2005 23' and as u can see in one of my other posts looking for welder. love my boat and wouldnt want another. good luck and hope u join the metal boat community,
