I put one in last year. Bent a c-shape out of aluminum. Attached bilge pump . Than self taped it to the hole thats already down there. I leave the hose in there and pull it out the deck hatch when i need to use it.

I think i got the right name. Its the covers that go over the bilge. Have anyone of you change them over to anything else or just replacing them every couple of years. Looking for a better product to hold the water out.

Just wondering if anyone has pulled a 500lb + tuna threw the tuna door. Does it put the scuppers and engine under water. What do u guys think is the best way to bring one aboard is. What else do u need to be able to go out after oct first, Epirb life raft survival suits? Just curios.

talked to dan over at pacific. he told me on all new boats they weld a bracket down there and screw the bilge pump to it. i have a piece of aluminum they sent me years ago. im going to make a bracket and bolt it down there .
