Possible to link or post pics of the boat directly ? It's not easy to discern which is the Pacific boat and which are the Bayweld to those that don't know.
What boat(s) do you have coming ?
Thanks

Re: Twin engines vs motor plus kicker
Capt Frank (Fish Miss Hayden) built a Pacific 26HT with twins that looked too stern heavy - can't find the thread on here but pic links don't seem to work on old threads anyway. His website is https://www.fishmisshayden.com/our-boats.html , there are a couple of pics of the boat there but only under...

Rick,
were you able to see how the existing ones are attached and are the same as the McMaster Carr ones ?
Thanks,
Ling

Re: Bought a 23 Pacific
Stanley, I'm sure the resident experts will be along shortly (Kmorin? WelderBob?..) but in the meantime, what year is the boat ? Do you have or can you post pics of the pitting/electronics mounting ? There are several solutions to galvanic corrosion, but Tef Gel seems to be the go to coating for Sta...

Re: Side mount rod holder suggestions?
I used Clickbond to mount SS studs under the gunnel to which rod racks were mounted. Added benefit is that the acrylic adhesive isolates the SS from the aluminum hull so there's no galvanic reaction. http://www.clickbond.com/ Weldmount is similar - http://www.weldmountsystem.com/?gclid=CLeliMrJmMsCF...

I've been waiting to see one of these built.
I'd really like to see a sportfish/recreational version of this

Try private messaging Welderbob here (you can find him in the members index) or alternatively, go onto his FB page and contact him there:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sound-Ma ... 4395691251
He used to work for Tom Carney (Thomas Marine) and he may know that boat.

The carpeted bunk trailer gives me pause. Looks like it's on the trailer most of the time (no bottom paint).
I'd like to see what's underneath that carpet...or where the bunk meets the boat...

jeez, a lot of HP for that boat. Overkill is an understatement.
That was a great deal.
Maybe a larger console is next ?

Re: Gravois reborn as a series of Metal Shark
Impressive. Going over in my mind how I would modify mine, if I had the means. Wondering about the floor: what is it made of and how would it be compatible with the hull/deck ? My years of perusing AAB has beaten into me the cautions of placing dissimilar materials against the hull/deck, and it was ...

No personal experience, but add Munson Boats to the list.

I'm curious why you didn't extend the seat in front of the console to the floor and have it as an extra storage locker ?

Re: How to Build a Small Business !
A 26' Bill Lincoln designed CC built by Bob (WelderBob) is on my bucket list. I like to buy local food and locally made boats. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to buy new at the moment so the V23HT in Greenport would have been a temporary cure for my two foot-itis. It sold before I could even take a g...
