Re: Newbie looking for Pacific Skiff

Yes you can tow with a 1/2 ton, my 23 is about 5800lbs TOTAL, sitting on a 1900lb steel trailer.
Why you don't see more is the cost of a new boat and those that buy them seem to hang onto them for ever.

Julie just emailed you.

Re: Hello all I'm new my names deva (day-va)

I run a Pacific23 and if you want a very stable fishing plat form this is it, if your want to haul a butt load of weight this is it, if you want to haul butt [read go real fast] get a yellow fin. The Pacific will run faster than your back will want to go due to the dead rise and width of the hull an...

Re: Correct Propeller Size...

is that full throttle on flat water and is that motor rated at 6000 RPMS? If it is, your over propped. You should be able to hit full throttle or right close to it with a lite load but not over rev. I had a 1985 18 bay runner CC with a merc 50 on it and would hit about 32 mph with 2 guys bait tank a...

My new job

The only thing that is as much fun as boating and fishing is shooting and now I get to do it even more at home. My new range is now open to the public. I also have 2 more instructors on board to cover all of your shooting needs, from getting your LTC to advanced pistol and rifle training. Here is th...

Re: Scotch-Brite Aluminum Hull

Aluminum starts to Oxidize within seconds of it's protective layer being removed.
If you want to keep it pretty looking get some sharkhide and follow directions.
If you want it to take its natural course then just let it turn the dark gray.
