Damn shrimp traps, huh..... If I wants some I gotta go out and throw a cast net till I'm whooped... That actually looks enjoyable. I could drag for them, if I wanted to jump thru all the law hoops and get me a small net. Was thinking about it for next season. All recreational shrimping here is done ...

I see they do offer a V bottom bow.....that boat would do me real good in our back waters here. But I like that bow roller in the flat front version. Perfect to hang a small anchor maybe? For quick deployment, when a tailing redfish is spotted in the grass. Man I want a small alloy creek boat so bad...

Ya got that right...... The reason for this entire post wasn't that I do no maintenance and then LITTLE GIRL about repairs, it was the SAGA First repair place gave me a key switch and sent me on my way.... second one did what a real shop is supposed to do. But, I have always got two years or so out ...

Are ya thinking of welding a ladder together AlloyToy? That would be good practice with some nice thick aluminum pipe and plate for the steps. Then Maybe even weld it to the trailer instead of like mine which is bolted.....certainly would be permanant then, huh. I want to learn so bad too....that I ...

Remember all the IN-THE-WATER talk on THT???
I know some of you have to remember all the talk about flushing your outboard on THT, not all that long ago. I think it was Broadcove (??) not sure, but that name rings a bell. That was building a cabin 26' BLM and said that it would sit in the cove for the entire season and the engine would never b...

I seen a ACB on ShipShape TV on cable one time and they were doing stuff to a bare ACB hull, like new seats etc. . But I did notice as they were cruising in a South Florida canal how loud that boat was, it was a 22 or 24 with a small cabin. Being that it has air in the chambers and no insulating typ...

Alloy, Marty, I know what your talking about...kinda per most direction manuals. As I had about 10 different machines on my last two boats, and was always changing 'ducers. They always want ya to have the 'ducer just a 1/4 inch or so below the bottom plane of the hull and kicked back just a hair and...

Yeah, we call it survival in the charter biz. The next part of the Saga is as follows. to reinterate...(for your comparison.....I mean all outboard owners) 1st shop: It was the key switch, there was a service bulletin on bad key switches. See if that fixed the over temp alarm. Nope, it had zero too ...

Yeah it sure looks like a smaller ACB. Thanks for the reply. I can only imagine that Stabi, with a Jet Outboard running through the shallows around here. I'd freak people out. Because of it's design and what I'd be doing, they'd think I was a Martian. They already think I'm a relocated Canadian or A...
