Congrats......but let me ask one thing. Is my boat a M/V, or do I have to be "fort" equiped? Hey Jetty, long time no hear from! If my understanding is correct, only boats that are CG documented have that type of vessel designator. In order to be documented, a vessel has to be a minimum of...

Spoiled one- I am trying to find the article that I read on those. I wanted to get one for my ditch bag, but a bad review gave me pause. If I remember, the battery doesn't last very long. It is rechargeable, but by 3 years they go bad. They are not user replaceable, and ACR charges over $250 to repl...

Spoiled one- unfortunately no. I won't get home till late January. Anne is going to pick it up, and bring it home next Thursday. I am hoping she brings the camera when she does! Welder- No, that's not my truck. That's a Dodge Dakota the boat broker used to pull her out of the storage tent. My truck ...

I wonder what the limit on these guys is? http://www.juneauempire.com/stories/100810/out_717573934.shtml Four young Sitka black-tailed bucks fell upon good luck Sunday as they were pulled from the icy waters of Stephens Passage, Alaska by a group of locals on Tom Satre's 62-foot charter vessel. Since it appears to be terribly slow on AAB lately, thought I might try and liven things up a bit. Try not to be drinking anything when you read some of these!

28' Seawolf

I saw this one before we started the process with the Silverstreak. Only it was 134k then. Quite a significant price drop. Looks like it may be a repo. Anyone want to make an offer?

Very interesting. I wonder how well that setup works. It is basically designed to increase stability when at rest, drift, or slow trolling, right?

My friend, I have been watching this event very closely. The sinking of the Might O in Florida was a major milestone for artificial reefs in the US. Canada does it all the time, and has some exceptional wrecks in the Pacific Northwest. I was sorry to hear about the delay, but cant wait to see it fin...

Re: Lost a Good Friend Today

Lester, I am so sorry. Making a decision to put a dog down can be a heart wrenching thing. I have had to do it as well, and I was a wreck for days. I still mourn for the dog I lost in the divorce in 2006. Good dogs leave permanent impressions on our hearts. Cherish her memory, and she will never tru...
