They handled that VERY well......obviously trained and have a clue. I've seen it when they have zero training and not a clue and it isn't pretty for anyone involved.

Naw, Goatram.......that was if I went Yamaha. I'm just a guy off the street with this deal. I forgot to mention one more thing in my LIST OF LEARNED THINGS IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS: -YES, there was a distinct difference when Honda 10-30 oil was mixed with saltwater, versus a cheap automotive oil. I hav...

Well, I hope I'll be back in the charter biz very soon. It's been 2 weeks of returning charter deposits and answering the phone knowing that I won't be paying any bills with this inquiry.... I am dropping my boat off at a dealer tomarrow with a clean transom. Honda #2 dead on the rack in my shop. Ge...

Unless you apply a protectant.........stand by for a real change! My river is super tannin and after only one trip, the water line turned all kinds of nice brown colors on me. Not complaining. The Jettywolf is not a "trailer queen", but rather a tool to catch fish in my opinion. That's it....

Re: 16' aluminum skiff
Don't be concerned at times I am easily confused. I have wanted to find any quality aluminum boat builders that I could here in the North East, but they seem to be scarce as hens teeth. Now I bump into welderbob and wonder why I have struggled so to find anyone. Perhaps no one affiliated with NON A...

Wow, Hopefully it was just the box that was made in China???? I thought TOHATSU was building their 4-stroke smaller motors? They are Japanese. But that doesn't mean they don't farm it out to the worlds evil we have helped build. Dang Bob, post that info on THT and whoa will that stir the pot. Many a...

Just got back from talking to my Seatow owner. He's Suzuki all the way. Something like 18 motors 175-300 hp's, from Key West to Jax in his franchises. With up to 5200+ hrs on a Jax boat with not any major issues except trim pistons caps, because he leaves them in the water 24/7 in the Marina next do...

You can tell it was a HOLIDAY weekend here in America. The amount of boats (fair-weather folks) are out in masses that would make the Canadian Army/Navy look like a gathering of Girl Scouts in comparison :!: :!: :!: There's that ole saying when out at the Mayport Jetties, (aka: St. Johns River Inlet...

Goat, that is small for a yellowfin these days and I believe its too hard to do a Yellowfin bow entry in alloy unless you're the US Government buying the boat. I've offshore fished A LOT on a buddies 20-21 foot CC, and it has a super deep V. Runs like a scalded dawg with a 250 Etec on it (1990 glass boat) The V has what they call a "padded" keel. The very bottom of at least 21 degree dead-rise has a flat spot. Kind of unique. Supposedly does some...

Yes, it's a miracle that they even did what they did. I've been told in so many words to just F' off before basically. 5 bad motors....heavy boat shouldn't be a big deal. That video is a aussie boat that I've always admired.....NOT Bob's boat. I put it up to just show that the bow has a piece over it. And wide gunnels, and that matters for what I do. Rod holders in the gunnels! And wide to sit on, too. Of course I can't even cut a wood board straight. So, my whole, s...
