Re: Bow Eyes
Bob that Looks real familiar.
I need to remember where I saw the 1/2" Eye at. Premade ready to install. I think it was at Fraser Bronze Foundry. it is not listed but I think that they make one ready to weld on.

Sweet boat and a fast refit. Congrats on a Job well done. Welds look good. Tank leaning looks questionable for security you posted the pics so nothing happened

Re: Bottom Paint on Aluminum Boat
Hey Bob, I'm not sure what to make about this vicious attack on John?? Afterall it was John who introduced me to you for my last little blast job and John has been helping me navigate build options on my new North River Death-Ship. From everything I have heard, your bottom paint job is a license to...

Re: Bottom Paint on Aluminum Boat
Tomorrow I will pull my boat after 6 months in Westport in that time it was removed twice. Once for a trip home to fix a minor issue and do a 100hr, the second to lower the motors. Mine was painted by Chaps last year. I had to do some repair touch ups this last spring. Tomorrow I will spray bleach o...

Re: Marine Glass????
The Tempered Glass and Rubber Extrusion is the Better Choice. On my previous build on my Northriver I made my own slider that always Stuck so I converted it to a hinge door. on the new Boat I used Diamond Seaglaze for both the windows and the slider door. The Work Boat show is coming up in NOV in Se...

Re: Bitumen Tar on the inside of an aluminum boat?
Run if your boat is in his boat's condition. It Might work if you had Clean Corrosion Free Aluminum. If not your Painting over the Corrosion which will make it accelerate. Big time! Lack Of Oxygen for the metal to breath. It will seal the boat for a summer but I see wrong Fasteners (steel), Corrosio...

Re: Just got my insurance quote from ACE
My 21' Northriver was insured thru BoatUS for $280 a year. Every year at the boat show I let Anchor give me a quote at the Boat Show. They always came in at $480 or there abouts. Last year Got the New boat and BoatUS quoted at $1550 and Anchor was $1100. WTHeck. I Questioned them and it seams the Hu...

Re: Is this fixable and what should it cost
+ the Weld time, Paint, Decal, and Carpet for the inside. It can be repaired but it will take some time and money. Besides the ANal Eye Factor it should not hurt anything except your resale value. Keep eye on it to watch it. A Badge of Honor or shame to remember the story to be told to all :nutkick:

My son had his Wedding on the first Weekend in Aug. My friend Bob offered his house and yard for the Wedding. He also likes to cook hence his user name BBQ Bob on BD. What he wanted was his boat polished up. My son had a great wedding reception. The food was great as was the Venue. Bob got his boat ...

Re: Just bought an Armstrong Pilot House and am glad to be h
The Trailer website should confirm what the Title says for weight. Then run the boat over a scale and then minus the trailer should tell you the weight. Howard has it right I think no foam in the boat. Not required for boats 21' and over. If mine Sinks I don't want it back. She'ed will have let me do...

Kevin is the wealth of knowledge. Mine is the Red one as well with the Python Pushpull Gun. No issues so far on mine besides the gun liner and other quick adjustments.
Waiting and hoping for the issue to be resolved and your back working nights and weekends on your Misstress

Cool that it was sponsored. On the lift it should last awhile. Mine has been in the water now for 5 months. I will pull it and then spray it with bleach. No way to wash till I get it home. Two Seasons Remember. Got to raise the water line up a little plus there will be some new metal added to the old up in the front area. This boat is wet when running. Bow drops and the water comes right up in the front hits the gunnel and blows back. Nothing to stop it. Last year at LaPush about sunk...
