Very cool, how much power and what type does it take to get that beast to 60 knots?

Re: help on a fix Gas tank?

Has anyone replaced a tank in a Pacfic? I would think it would be a pretty involved process, having to cut out the floor and then the tank. I wonder if the tank failed in that area from water leaking from the Armstrong hatch cover?

That's crazy money for that boat with that power, maybe if it had new power it would be worth that kind of money.

Re: Used 23 Pacific on seattle Craigslist

$67.5K :rotfl: Agree, that has to be close to what is cost in '10 Now I'm curious. Given the condition, hours and rigging of his Pacific what do you think is the market value? I would say low $50s but there are very few that come up for sale used, so I suppose it is more what the market will pay, b...

I believe up to and including 2004s, aluminum tanks started in 2005.

Cool, being a '06 it would have the 1/4" bottom and aluminum gas tank. The bow rail does not look factory, IMO it is worth around $15k.

Wow, that is a fantastic looking boat, only thing I do not care for is all the painted aluminum, looks great but it is as fragile as gelcoat.

Yarmouth PD Pacific V21

Saw this on Pacific's site, nice looking boat. I like the rear storage compartments, bet it goes pretty good with the 225 on it.

Re: Workskiff for Auction in NY

I was thinking of bidding on it but it has already gone above what I would be willing to pay, I was interested in it to flip. One cool thing about the government auction site is there is no sniping so if you bid a couple seconds before the auction ends it automatically extends the auction 15 minutes...

Surprised to read those have plywood PT floors in them, must be isolated from the aluminum some how.

Re: Small, shallow-draft l/c?

I have a Pacific 1925 in MA, it is great for larger lakes and inshore salt water, the biggest issue with plate aluminum boats in this size is the cost, very few in the northeast are willing to pay what they cost. I bought mine used and had it shipped from CA.

Re: Self Bailing

I will only own a boat with a self bailing deck, I saw a small boat almost sink a couple weeks ago at the beach in shallow water when a couple big waves broke over the bow and filled the boat. If I have a choice of having a boat that will stay afloat and operational without depending on a pump I wil...

Re: Added to fleet

It's a 2007 V2075HT with a 115hp Evinrude e-tec. I finally realized that with the family my dream of a 30' offshore boat will have to wait. We have been using them both alot and I'm happy with the new one. Cool, what kind of performance are you seeing with the 115? Always curious on the smaller Pac...
