Hi Mojo, present and accounted for, didn't even feel it actually but i guess being 300 miles away helped, does make you start to think about safety plans and kits though. might go fill up containers of water and store them, get some caned food etc. My Uncle was with me in Wanganui when it hit and hi...

Re: Luv my Stabicraft! Not too sure about the E-tec

Not good having a tow home, hope engine works out ok. Agree with welder on the rope, dad and I used tow all the boats here for a while and we always had a large sack on the rope to absorb the recoil if it broke. Plus from memory i think that rope has only something like 12 or 13% stretch before brea...

Re: Plugs for alloy boats?

Unless it is a copy it is the NZ TENOB brand that is the larger of the two sizes available, we fit them to our boats as well, good bungs.

Here is another bung worth looking at.

Length wise the boat pretty much has no spare room with t...

Re: Double Ended Beach Launching Trailer

Hi Goatram Sorry slow reply on this one! I am not sore on tongue weight now but not a lot as you can see the boat and trailer sit level, as we had to make sure the boat sat smack in the middle of the trailer in each direction. They are literally towing the boat 20-30 meters with a tractor till they ...

We use the Tenob product too, nice and tidy! Tenob make some great products here NZ. we also use their bungs and their composite plastic rod holders (same strength as S/S without dissimilar metals problems)
