Brand New Wooldridge 17' Sport w/ Sport Jet

Last year we built a 20' Alaskan XL w/ a sport jet that was very popular. Customers then asked us to build a smaller sport jet so here it is a 17' Sport w/ sport jet.......... http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv287/MeadowDanny/20111117013jpg70.jpg http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv287/MeadowDan...

Re: Wooldridge 20' Pilothouse Build

Thank you for participating here and showing your builds  What is the beam? (or did you already say) Can this 20' be built with a shorter walkaround cabin? Beam is 97 1/2". Yes you can make the cabin shorter. There is 3' behind the driver's seat now and if you made it shorter you wou...

Have to say sweet looking boat!, But that's an amazing site looking at it on a tandem axle trailer, What size beam is on the boat, and do you have any special restrictions for towing?
Boat is 9.5' wide. In the state of Washington you need an annual permit.- Glen

Re: Wooldridge 20' Pilothouse Build

The cabin floor is 8" lower than the back deck , that tells me the cabin deck is at or below the water line. No biggie , throw a couple bilge pumps in and hammer down. The rear deck is raised 3" for fuel capacity. You step down 8" from the rear deck to the center aisle in the cabin. ...

Re: Wooldridge 20' Pilothouse Build

To answer your questions. #1. No it's not self bailing, it's very hard to make the floors high enough in a smaller boat. #2. Yes a gull wing front door will work in the 20ft pilot. #3. The 20ft offshore with the pilot house option, the offshore bracket, raised sides with 50 gal fish box, 150 hp with...

Re: Wooldridge 20' Pilothouse Build

A 150 is what we will use. A 150 will be just right on this boat, fast and good on gas. We will use a Diamond Sea swing door that folds against the rear cabin wall, I don't like sliders as well myself if you have cold weather with some slush in the track and if it freezes durning the night the door ...
