Re: interesting 24 almar

Just ripping the dated stuff off for now, cleaning up some wiring etc. Once the other GF sells will make a decision whether to re-power. Spoke to Hamilton Jet and they suggested the 212 pump is not meant for salt water usage so I should start budgeting for a 213. Only 12-14k new  Couple pic...

Just wanted to say Thank You to Napa Mike for such a great find. We made it home today, still surprised we were able to get it ... good deals go fast. Looks like it may be a bit of a project but was getting bored anyways. Couple shots of the trip. Cheers http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd5...

Re: Winter blues

Your ride will be harder on your neck and lower back.Cut and move the bulkhead up two feet. Loose the head. You get the back deck room without shrinking the cuddy and moving the helm fwd. Not sure what you mean by bulkhead and loose the head :) Photo shop a bow pulpit on that boat, it'll look great...

Re: Winter blues

Difference is about a couple feet of extra dance floor/less cabin ... notice the midsection downrigger post doubled up in second picture. The pic was taken a month ago, we had a bit of rain storm, bilge pump failed and wise thing to do was to pull the boat out for a bit and do some maintenance/proje...

Re: Foam OR No Foam?

So if you have foam in a 24 fter would you scoop it out and get rid of it even though it doesn't seem to be wet or show any signs of corrosion. I could use more storage anyway and not sure if the little foam it has would keep it afloat when you consider the weight of the aluminum plus 1000+ lbs I/O....
