This is exactly why I ordered my hull plain......well sort of. I saw so many different tops and pilot houses that I had no idea what I wanted. All I had to have was Massive Deck Space ! So the CC was placed dead center (A true CC ! ) and I wanted a forward deck/locker I could use as casting platform...

Jetty: replace the damn thing and after every GD use spray the shaft with corrossion X or WD40 ! Take out the GD grease gun and pack the trailer bearing and grease the engine fittings ! I do all this after every trip and and that is that. Next time I go to use it I put some fresh go go juice in it a...

Hi ALL ! Well as everything points out things just seem to be slow on the Yellowfin side of things. The only guy's who seem to be killin em is the Canyon Runner and they hit the Hudson regularly. Hi All ! Well here is the news......hit the dock early and we left rite on time. Only 17 shows so we had the 100 footer to ourselves. 12 hours steam after traveling well past Atlantis over the edge to get a good read and back to the flat to set up a slick at noon. Hi All ! I agree ......its all BS ........Take your old truck and repower it with a Cummins. It will set you back 20k but you will have all the pulling power you need and you won't have to pay big property taxes for a new truck. I myself am looking into a retrofit for my Silverado. At 1994 and in mi...

Hi All: I hate these damn things. I love the big swell and the big blow but I hate all that comes with it. I went through HUGO back in the 80s when I was in SC. What a ******* mess ! I thought it was fun drinking beers and watching the surf wash across the highway in front of the Air Force base. It ...

Hi All ! Jetty is correct ! The new ford 6.7L diesel is basically a ground up new engine. Common rail design with piezo electronic electronic injectors. This bosch injection design provides the ability to do multiple injections per power stroke and do so very quietly. To be honest I am on the see sa...

Re: Fishing pliers/Split Ring
Jetty: I do not use spinners alot but they do have their place. Like dropping a jig FAST ! Faster than a Accurate ! Cannot beat at that . Mostly use them for surf in the fall when the Stripers are chasing bait close to shore and when big fronts come through. We fish in stuff that is truely insane bu...

Re: Fishing pliers/Split Ring
Hi All ! Yes Jetty....that is how Avets are . Nearly all have drastic side load issues. The Monsters like the T REX not so much but not many people opt for 110 Lbs of drag either. The Avet line is not as refined as the Accurates in smoothness and finish but not everyone can afford Accurates either. ...

Hey Jetty ! Nice to here from you again. My friend has a pair of Dennis's pliers. They are stainless and do not have a carbide cutter. They are completely stainless. Good pliers but Kevlar assist cord will raise hell with stainless in no time. The Okuma high end stuff is pretty nice but it still not...

Hi All ! I have to agree about the Pilot house. They are real nice but they knock speed rite down if you are all about speed. You all know Occams Razor's layout and she gets better than 4.0Mpg at 3800 cruise. I think it is slightly more than that but I have now fuel flow guage. Its just put the fuel...
