Therapy
Don't worry, he told me. I had forgot about it. WAY too busy around this time of year. Getting Maggiemizer ready to start middle school, which is ALWAYS an adventure, plus the extra vacation/staycation time with her before we resume the normal custody schedule with her father.... 50/50 ?!?! Also the...

When was that?
Well, lets not pin the exact week down, in the next 365 days or so... Your 12oz curls any specific brand? Mark whips up a fantastic Margarita around here. I will leave the call for a gathering to Mark and his rib-eye steaks, since they speak for themselves. I am sure we can round up plenty of AAB bu...

So Lester, is that a promise or a threat... You come out here to visit and I hang my goin' fishin sign too. I will just promise to save a few lives on my off time. (Just won't be scaly lives, those I just might cause sudden cardiac arrest due to ingestion of large bait and hooked foreign body) Marks...

Can't keep this mizer silent...
The Mojo humor is endless!! He likes that picture of me at work on New Years Eve... Thinks the barf bucket/exam gloves hat & celebration we had was a classic. Could have been worse. Mark gets his orders directly from the boss. (A pansy for the pets) http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii43/trader...

Hmmmm, Was not my decision to go for the smaller fare. I was bugging to go out for the main dish, not the side dish!! Just had to keep Mark from using that wrist, (Man, was that one UNHAPPY fisherman) http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii43/traderite/FishingAug0814.jpg Just gotta love the determinat...

All calm now
Living here all my life, there have been many memorable quakes. Sylmar being MY very first quake memory. That WAS a huge one. Northridge took out so much, hospital, apartments, freeways... Landers and Big Bear back to back were all bad. Same with Whittier, which was far too close for comfort for me....

Shakin' it up
 How did everyone do with the Earthquake this morning here in Southern California?? Hopefully nothing expensive falling off shelves and breaking. The Mizer home had some items fall, but everyone is safe. Poor Maggie had never felt an earthquake before and was freaking out. I had to jump up an...

More, I do believe there might be a little more to the story
From what I heard and saw throughout the day, there is more to the left coast story. From start to finish the day was grand. :D Getting the big picture does take time and effort and photobuckets unlimited resources. Problem : :?: How to get MORE lady anglers out on these fantastic escapades. Would ...

Better band aid...
Scott, Sorry about my inability to come through in a pinch on that band aid job, but I can't argue with the fact you can mend a broken weld better than I. :? I think I will stick to the repairs of the human kind. Can honestly say there are plenty to deal with just wish I can dump most of the human a...

Hooks hooked
Wow, Love the x-ray. My world and welcome to it. Yes, I have seen worse, but would never suggest that you feel any better for it. Had a guy come in a year or so ago, around 2am after trying hours on his own to get out a hook like that one that went through 2 fingers, hooking them together. Q...

He started it!!!
Whats in a name? Mark started it with his screen name having mizer in it. (He is not a "Mizer" per se, just a moniker) He added Maggiemizer and I had to follow suit. Trader was meant to do just as you say, make people think I am a day trader as everyone does not need to know my real profe...

Well, the holiday went well. Most stayed away from the hospital, most meaning those that really could stay home because there was no real reason to be there, DID stay home. kept all of my patients alive, whether they wanted to or not... LOL (Like I tell my peeps, NOT ON MY SHIFT YOU DON"T DIE) ...

Work
I am going in for 4 hours tonight and tomorrow night. Trying to make up for some sick days that I had last week. With an immune system like I have never thought I could catch something, but did and was down for the count on 3 twelve hour shifts, playing catch up is hard. With it being a holiday, ho...

Catalina
The hospital I work at is the "mainland hospital" that gets the Catalina patients. I am a trauma nurse, but was not working at that time. I work the night shift. This was a very sad case, no time to bail out, passengers pretty much had no chance. Can't give details as I can't break the HI...

Its a mizer
Ok, rod and reel, pricey. Fishing charter: a few bucks in the till. Pulling in a nice calico, priceless!! But, even more priceless is the scenic background! (Oh, yes. We can't forget the priceless mojomizer, LOL) Photo 2007... Catalina waters. http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii43/traderite/DSC00...

Little Maggies trout catch.
Was scanning some of my older photos and found this one of Maggie when she was just a 7 year old polywogmizer. She just seemed to have the knack for finding the right fish at the right time and land it. She has the best fishing mentor you can ask for in Mark. http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii43/...

Maggie trying her best.
Maggie has had her share of homework this week, as with most weeks. She does have a social studies test Friday to study for and a Science test on weather on Monday. Keeping my fingers crossed that she does well. Hmmmm, do you think you are Smarter Than A 5th Grader?? I feel like I have done this 5th...

Thank you for the welcome
Thank you all for the warm welcome. Most of all, thank you for the input for My Maggiemizer. She is a tough kiddo with a lot to deal with. We are very encouraged by her enthusiasm as she reads the letters here. It is incentive to finish her school work so that she can log on here and get her message...

Sorry Mark, I would have cropped that picture to exclude everything above the top of that fine fish tail you snagged, but just did not have it in me to push the edit button. You were already pretty much "out" with that cool pose behind Maggie's pic... So there. As far as Florida goe...

Mizer family
Don't worry about overpopulation of mizers... The rest are too busy to post here. The Maggiemizer is the last of the little mizers and the joy of my sporting/fishing/active life. My other mizers are a daughter who has 2 weemizers of her own, a 2 y/o (The next generation fishing/boating mizer!!!) an...
