Re: Texas Heat

69 and 50% sounds good but 75 and 50% with a 6 kt breeze swirling across the water is very nice...drifting or mooching!

Also became the blast adjuster for Chaps...1/16 turn up...now one more...down 1/4 turn..up 1/8 that's it! And away he went bla...

Re: Air Pumps/Tanks

THX for the info and the link. Now I need to look inot what the air bags for the truck requires...some have cab balance switch panels...wonder if that will mate up to another system. Also to feed the air horns I need a switch/valve that opens when hit the horn...that would go in place of the little ...

Re: Education on props??

Jetty, As you said you were running light and only hit 5300...so what it means you are getting more thrust for lower RPM and thusly some fuel economy...but loaded and you pushed her it would seem to me the engine will get hotter as it is working hard...but then when you are loaded...do you go on pla...

Re: Education on props??

Some info for you...A 4 balde will run smoother less vibration...but with a relatively small OB sized prop you may not even notice it being smoother while underway...but in bigger size for IB larger boats with speeds around 10 to 20 knots..you would know. Another blade means more resistance in the w...

I was wonder how folks who have tanks for seats and maybe on their truck for airbags felt about the brand/model they have? Any issues and concerns and advice? My purpose is to run a system on my truck to pump up tires, run air horns and maybe suspension airbags. I have a perfect place under the bed ...

Looks like this is coming together nicely...nice wire job. I spoke with a pal who does canvas work...that type of fabric is not suitable for dye afterwards...doesn't take! You could always do like "days o yore" in merchant and navy ships, PAINT. :rotfl: Sorry!
