I think the second box should be left open for the fuure owner, as everyone's taste's and needs are different. I do not think I would try to adapt the space for a locking reel/rod storage as I personally think you need a lot more room to make this really nice, and would prefer so see that go under d...

tig welding will fit into very tight places, and is probably the way to go on limited small areas. This technique, combined with you spool gun for the wide open spaces, shpuld get the job done I would think.

The Japanese have really made an art out of this style of fishing. As a deckhand, I used to throw a lot of salas and tady iron, but these guys have a whole new game going on.

But it sure is a lot of work when its hot.

Think I'll stick to live baits that do most of the work in my old age. :D

With close to a 10' beam, a low price, solid construction, and weather protection, this cat has a lot of things going for it that you won't find on others. It has the World cat 27HT beat as far as I am concerned. The single panel sides cut down on the construction cost and the channel rubrails also ...

Raising the motor will really help to eliminate drag. I also supect that welders weight is placed farther back and this difference in balance might help him to trim up the bow for more speed at the same rpms too. PH's always seem to collect and carry more gear/weight than a CC, so these 3 things wou...

If the deck is higher than the surrounding water level, then I would install some rear or sidewall scuppers, and probably put a cover with a handle on the deck grill to force the water out by gravity. Scuppers cost about $4-7 each plus shipping, and you don't need to weld. I would also go to a 800 g...

I personaly think the shakesphere bigwater ulgy stick is a very good value. All aftco rollers in the XX class for $160 from basspro. These are the only ugly sticks I have seen that are not ugly.

They have a softer tip than my calstar's, and I prefer this with heavy drags, especially on large tuna.
