Will they let us order a truck unpainted? That way it would match our boats?

Re: Time to end the Bunk Funk.
I did the same thing a year or so ago. Counter sunk the bolts, cut drainage. I used bolts with lock nuts as it seems anything boat related that doesn't have a lock nut on it will self-loosen.

The sides are NOT one piece, the Flair is a separate piece .

Re: Looking for aluminum boat need advise
First of all, welcome aboard AAB! You might enjoy spending some time looking at pictures from different builders. If you haven't already, take a look at some of the links on the page below as a starting point. There are lots of good builders out there... http://www.aluminumalloyboats.com/viewtopic.p...

Re: Some recent projects
Looking very good, John. Here is an idea for holding a wash down hose. I made mine out of 4" diameter PVC pipe, although it could be made out of aluminum too. Simple to make. I purchased the PVC and then cut most of one side off (maybe 3/5ths of the pie, looking at the pipe from the end), leavi...

Water Pumps
Doing some more research for my next boat. I want to have a raw water pickup that will feed into a pump that will provide water to the following: 2 wash down hoses (with plenty of of volumne...none of that 4 gpm type), a 30 gallond bait tank, and a bleed tank. In addition, I want the option to pump ...

Non alloy superstructure on aluminum hull
So folks, let's hear comments about it. What if I were to find an old alloy hull with no cabin. Or perhaps a small console. And I want a small walk around pilothouse, only I have no welding experience and don't want to pay to hire it done. What are your thoughts if I would build my own NON ALLOY or ...

Marine Hydraulics
So what does it take to get set up with hydraulics? I'd like to explore the possiblity of the following hydraulic system(s) on my next boat, but really don't know anything about them or what exists. Sooo...is it possible to have hydraulic steering, a hydraulic windlass, two hydraulic downriggers (in...

Re: Foam OR No Foam?
This is maybe slightly off topic, but I think you guys will find it interesting. I was once talking with a boat salesman and one of the selling points he hit was that his boats had foam in them. He said it did two things: 1) made a quieter ride and 2) made the boat float higher in the water . I stil...
