Cool story, glad no one was hurt. What is the breaking strength of the line they use? Must be very strong stuff.

Re: Thirty Three-Could It Be ?????

Wow, great looking boat, what is the inside like? Does it have a head? Looks like the pot puller mounted on the cabin roof, does it take up a lot of room inside?

Re: 32 Fearless - Most awesome plate alloy CC ever?

Interesting about the welds, I thought the same thing from one of the shots of the bow locker. How do you think it compares to the original RS? http://www.yachtworld.com/boats/2008/Rock-Salt-Center-Console-2481894/Marshfield/MA/United-States#.U5t6_cJOXIU Any guess at the cost and build time? Re: 32 Fearless - Most awesome plate alloy CC ever?

Looks like a nice boat, though I do not care for painted aluminum boats.
A little disappointing the guy having it built registered and posted his Pacific for sale here but not the build of his new boat.

I would test it and make sure you can reach max RPM so if it is not propped correctly you can get a new prop. Suzuki gauges are notorious for being bad.

I think 275HP is the max on the current 2325, may be lower on earlier models.

capesteve,

This is would be your boat viewed from the stern if it did not have the V20 Bracket. Add a hardtop to that narrow beam, not the best for "heavy rip fishing".

What kind of speed do you get with the 115HP? What year is your boat?

Re: 20 ft center console

I have a 90HP on my Pacific, tops out around 36mph. I used to think I wanted a 150HP but how I use the boat currently does not permit me to run above mid 20s 99% of the time. I used to use the boat on a lake in Maine, when I did that I could have used more speed but now just using it in the ocean I ...

Most likely could not meet CAFE standards, also Fiat owns Ram and Jeep so there is probably more profit if kept in house.

Re: Gravois Bay Boat

Wonder if it is self bailing?, my understanding is earlier ones are not, nice looking boat but to me the Pacific is a nicer boat with no paint to deal with. Also a lot easier to make an aluminum boat, grind and buff the joints and welds and then cover everything in paint than the way Pacific makes a...

Looks nice, surprised there is no platform in the back like the front so two anglers could fish from an elevated position at once.
