No worries Kevin.
I'll take the 300s, no one has ever complained about to much HP on a boat.

Re: Opinions needed. Deposit going on Weldcraft
Get the diesel heater and ask you can get a 2nd fuel tank below deck for at least 200gal total, better to have it and not need it that to need it and not have it. It would be nice to get a tank in the gunwale [3rd tank] just for the kicker motor and of course water separators all the way around.

On the used market I would say about 45K.
To replace Boat motor and trailer today 90K to 95K
If that's a 2325

Re: to windlass or not to windlass??
Since you are on the fence for a windlass, I would at least have Pacific run the wires for a windlass. Alternately, have you looked into the salt water trolling motors which can be connected to your GPS to hold your position. A friend of mine has one on a 22' boat and loves it! It is much easier an...

Re: 14-18 Deep Vee with a Self-Bailing Deck
Kevin, good reply and I like the way you ended your above post. Guys, Kevin is correct in how hard it is to make a small hull that is pleasing to the eye for EVERYONE and that we all have our own opinion on shapes and lines. Kevin, as always gives his honest opinion, I appreciate that and it makes t...

Re: Lower unit paint/corrosion issues.
Did someone say g l a s s ?
Does that lower unit have sacrificial anodes on it?
I would get it cleaned up and repainted ASAP and make sure there are some ZINCS on it .
OK, I looked back at the 1st pic and can see a zinc, looks like it's mot doing it's job.

Re: Pacific V2325 vs V2600
CB, I started this site after buying a Pacific 2325 CC witth a Honda BF225. I, like you , had all of the same questions. The 2325 is the most popular due to #1 Cost , #2 Sea worthiness For myself I have only one regret , wish I would have got the 26. Yes that extra 3 feet makes a big diff. in just r...

Re: Cracked Trailer frame repair ideas
Yep, stress crack due to the bottom flange rolling, the cross member is causing the flex and repeated flexing will cause cracks. I would contact the trailer manufacturer 1st to see if they have a fix for you. If they don't then I would look at plates and stiffeners to beef up the areas where the cro...
