electrical current in water

I would like to know if anyone on this site has any information on how to protect an alloy boat from errant current in a marina setting? Going to a slip for the first time and I am concerned about corrosion due to electrical current in the water from leakage at the slips. Thank you, Mike

I have a 23 I purchased used. You would have to go some to damage the hull. Very satisfied! 2003 yr.

Re: Pacific boat fuel tank, lasted only 11 yrs.

A friend of mine that has a 23 Pacific had a problem where the fuel connection on top of the tank. It corroded away. We had a friend who has a metal shop make one out of stainless, as far as I know no further problems.

welding aluminum

Is there any chance when welding aluminum that the welding could fry electronics or the or the electrical components of the outboard motor? Don't know squat about welding, info is greatly appreciated

non-skid

Anyone have an idea on how to remove non-skid paint from aluminum? tried using a oscillating tool, way too slow ! Boat is a 2002 Pacific. Some paint comes right off, other areas are really on there.

finding cans and nuns

Went on a charter a few years ago and the capt used a big flashlight to find buoy's in the dark. I thought that was a clever idea. I then went out and bought a green laser with an adjustable beam, this thing will light up a buoy miles away. I call it the flashlight from hell!
