Re: Finally, some down time...

Thanks Ken,
work had me running ragged for a while. I think I had two days off since the middle of July. It really is amazing how fast this year is going.

Finally, some down time...

I wanted to post up a couple pics of some summer trips earlier, but for the last two months, haven't had a spare second. We took the boat up to Neah Bay for week and got some great fishing in. Landed a couple of beautiful Chinook, two Coho, and a bunch of Pinks. 004 (640x480).jpg 010 (480x640).jpg 0...

Re: Pivot pin removal

I got her sorted out. I applied a little heat from a torch to the area around the pin. Worked like a charm; they drifted right out. I was able to replace the hydraulic line without too many curses, and am pretty satisfied with the results. Check one of the nagging little problems off my list!!! :thu...

Re: electrical

My VHF turns on and off all by itself Sculpin, that's not a good thing! I have two issues that I would like to resolve. 1) My charger/inverter is wired wrong, I think... It won't read battery one (housebank)when plugged into shore power. When I am under way and switch over to charge it, the volt me...

Pivot pin removal

Ok gents, I need some helpful hints. I have a leaking hydraulic hose on my tilt/trim system. In order to replace it I have to pull the outdrive. According to the manual, It looked pretty straightforward. The steering helmet, and ram pins were a piece of cake. When I got to the pivot pins, I ran into...

Howdy fellas! As part of the refit for Diversion , I have had to replace a few things. One that I am finally getting to is the anchor windlass. It is a 10 year old Lewmar Concept "0". The motor was so rusted tight, that I almost wasn't able to get the housing off. I would like to replace t...

Re: Seattle Boat show Meet and Greet

Had a wonderful time at the brewery! The drive up from Rochester was nice, not nearly as long as I thought it would be. Traffic was light, and we found parking right away. Met John and Randy; it was nice to put faces to names. Talked about fishing and the Anacortes Derby. Didn't take much convincing...
