Re: GOT CHUM?
Hey Jetty. Those side rub rails you are always talking about, The one welded almost the length of the boat about 12 inches above the water line right?? From what I "noticed" on Pacific's website is they offer them on "Commercial" vessels. Don't see as an option on BL's new Brochu...

Well, that is one more option I will add to my list when I order my boat. Do you think it will come with the sticker on it??

Re: Saw this on ebay...
Careful Jetty. Some of those "squids" are trigger happy. And you know as well as I know, "Every one is a suspect " now-a-days. And tough as your boat is, I don't think it is 50mm cannon proof. And you would have to have an awful lot of people on that boat for all the rods that th...

Re: Hull Floatation
What about the material that the white water rafts are made out of. I know that stuff is RUGGED. I imagine it could be made to shape. I look at it like this: Inflate for flotation purposes. Deflate it if that area of the boat needs to be worked on, mods, repairs ect. Just a thought....

Thanks for the "welcome" John. I don't mind Dave at all. I think everybody being so different is what make this place so much fun. Different boats, different personalities, different opinions, it is what makes the "village".

Re: Granite State Checking In.
Kind of. I bought the Lund for my father & I. He used to be a saltwater warrior. It is just too rough for him now. He likes the lakes & I like the ocean. I am shooting for a V26. But I think I will look a LITTLE out of place on the small lakes around here with a monster like that. So I plan ...

Re: How much is fuel where you boat?
THANKS Jetty, I thought it counteracted the ethanol so it wouldn't reek havoc on the fuel system. I will have to look into the tolerance my motor can handle & start looking for less ethanol at the pump. The Merc dealer told me the Carbs (ALL 4) were clogged with fuel system junk. $300 later &...

Re: Granite State Checking In.
Once again fellas, THANKS for the welcome. I knew that "Congress" remark would get the pot stirring a little. At least they could wear CLOWN suits while ruining everything, at least we would get a little entertainment for our TAX DOLLAR(S). Helping spend other peoples money is fun. But whe...

Nice to see more people from the north east. How has the fishing been in the Merrimack this year, What lakes do you fish. I have not been out yet this year but usually I go out in Salem harbor or Ipswich bay and Sebago lake in ME. Have only been down the Merrimack once so far this year &...

Granite State Checking In.
Hello Everyone, My name is Chris. Have been a member for a few months now & figured I should probably introduce myself. I live in New Hampshire about 30 minutes from the coast. Fish the Merrimack & Piscataqua Rivers along with some local lakes. Currently have a 17' Lund Explorer SS, 90HP Mer...

Re: Hull Floatation
I'm glad I have it. Every once in while I forget to put the bilge plug in. Didn't notice for 3 hours on one trip to the local lake. Thought the boat felt a little sluggish with the electric trolling motor. Boat only sank another 10 inches & stopped. The foam kept her up.

Re: Black Lab Marine
Hi Jeff, I was just talking to Aaron from Black Lab yesterday afternoon. He told me the prices came way down. BUT you have to chase your own trailer & motor. Pacific will ship the boat directly to the marina you choose. He is e-mailing me the up-dated price guide in a couple of weeks along with ...

90HP Mercury 4-Stroke Carburator problems.
Have a 2005 Mercury 90HP 4-Stroke with 4 carbs & electric choke. Last couple of seasons I noticed the motor only starts if I feather the throttle & runs like a cold blooded 4-stroke until it warms up. Has a "misfire" that gets less & less as the motor warms up but always has a ...
