Re: REDNECK YACHT CLUB with the "Act II"
Jettywolf, that video was hilarious, almost wet myself laughing. The guys trying to break the surf have a real death wish, guy on the bow was lucky to have stayed in boat. Think I'll have a beer in their honor.

Hey Jay, I'm not sure why but I'd like to have machine guns on my Pacific 23. Coasties and homeland probably wouldn't approve but what the hell!

Re: Hang In There Guys
Hey Alloy toy, really cold around here these days. Cant wait for warmer weather to get here. I may have to go out on the Helen H or the Frances Fleet . I think I need to catch a fish or two to end fishing withdrawal symptoms. If anyone goes now it would be like going into space, have to go get out t...

Hey Steve, I have a Pacific 23 with a 175 Zuk on it. I got it last year and so far I love it. Very low maintenance and rugged , one solid boat. I put trim tabs on it as some of my pals are big folk and rather than constantly asking them to move over so I can run flat I just hit the trim. We run acro...

Hey Jettywolf, I found out about this site in late 2008 from alloy toy at a ramp in R.I. Since then I have enjoyed posting and learning. If you ask a question you get an honest answer from AAB members. Sometimes I go to a site begining with the letter T. At that site people ask a question and others...

Hey Cody, the BFT bite up here was incredible last year (08) at Steelwagon and off Chatham. Some day's there were whales and bait everywhere we looked, one day off Chatham the whales were breaching all around us this sight alone was well worth the trip. I have a friend that I fish with alot who has ...

Re: Off Shore Wind Mills
There were some folks up in New England trying to build some off Nantucket, there was a lot of resistance from people who didn't want their view spoiled. Most people who can afford a home on Nantucket are quite well off and it seems they have stalled the plans for now.As for myself I have seen windm...

Hey Pete from Brisbane. Do you know if the company that made top shot gaffs have solved their problems? A friend of mine wants to find one and is having problems in the US I believe they were made in your neck of the woods. Thanks for any info, Clambo

Hey relentless,
Welcome to the group,I'm a new member myself and when spring comes around I'd be happy to let you take the helm and put a 23 pacific with a 175 Zuk through the paces. Of course we will have to fish. These boats are like tanks. You would have to do something really crazy to hurt it.

Hey Nuke, isn't not covering our boats one of the reason we got them in the first place? What the hell sense does it make to buy a tank and go and cover it with some plastic. Cover or fill the holes and let mother nature keep the critters out.

Thanks for the warm welcome from AAB. Seems to be quite a few of us in the New England area. Maybe some time next year we could have an Alloy boat rally like the car people do. I know it would mean a day off from fishing but time with the family is fun too. Any idea's? Clambo
