Propane + Shop Air + Mole Tunnel = a Mild Pop when the air fuel mixture becomes Optimal for combustion.. Will need to wait a few weeks to see if the little bugger comes back.
Knock on Aluminum. I have not experienced that in my shop Yet!

Brass Wool????????
Scotch brite Red, Green, White, Now Steel or Brass wool. The aluminum can get the fin particles inbedded in it. Bad I would Believe.

Re: Drain plug?
The Brass one needs to be new when you launch the Boat. Replace it after two months or so if left in the water. I had my old NR's Plug go bad after a month in the water. I pulled the plug and the threads on the inner bras plate where eaten away. It was a plug that I bought a year previous. Red the s...

As the price of Aluminum has sky rocketed the cost of a new boat has gone up as well. That makes used boats a good deal now even if they are getting the Original Price. Go look up old cars and trucks now. People are getting Stupid Prizes for used cars. VW Bugs going for more than the asking price. 7...

Re: 16' aluminum skiff
cool project that I will follow. I am interested in the air over foam for floatation.
Bob gave me the plans for a 12' skiff that I want to increase to 14' as well as raise the gunnels and the transom. A 25HP is what I hope to power mine as well. Half Pipe for the Cool Factor not PVC is my 2 cents.
