Re: pacific assassin build
the Suzuki controls are installed and the main wire harness is pulled to the back of the boat. I do not have any of it hooked up. I will let the shop plug it all in. You can see the auto pilot pump installed under the steering wheel. I have it hooked up to the steering but do not have the cylinder h...

Re: pacific assassin build
one end of the cable is very small and makes it easy to pull through rigging tubes. Then you just screw on the adapter when you are ready to hook it up. Pretty sweet.

Re: pacific assassin build
installed VHF antenna's. I went with Morad, the 159 is for VHF/AIS while the 156 is just for VHF. This is what the CG and a lot of commercial boats use. I debated between this and Digital and decided to go this way. The aluminum tubes are powder coated and I used TEFJEL to between the tubes to help ...

installed a Nmea 2k compatible fuel level sensor. I was looking at a analog to nmea2k convertor but going this way was almost the same money. Just plug direct into the Nmea2k system. Then I should be able to see fuel tank level on my mfd's. I know that I can see fuel usage on the engine management s...

Re: pacific assassin build
Found a clamshell pickup for the washdown pump pickup. If it works good and keeps a prime even on step I will probably add another setup to the port side for the livewell system next winter. or just "T" off of this one. That would be a lot easier. 20220119_113220-1.jpg 20220119_113353-1.jp...

Re: pacific assassin build
LOL I thought I cut back ;). some days I might have up to 30 rods or more if going after tuna, salmon and halibut. I do not like having to look for a empty rod holder if switching setups. And why not it was easy and cheap to add them

Re: pacific assassin build
Oh yeh and don't get in a hurry and not pay attention. Did not notice till later that we ended up with 12 rod holders on the port and 11 on the starboard. We had a block of wood for a spacer block and still messed up lol. We ended up only a few inches off between the two sides by just growing a 1/4 ...

Re: pacific assassin build
We built a spacer bar out of 2X2 square tubing, 45'd the ends, capped them off and added a couple of more rod holders to the back deck rack. If you are over 6'2" you better duck lol. At 5'9" I have plenty of room and can actually grab rods out of there without standing on my tippy toes ;) ...

Re: pacific assassin build
Just been working on wiring lately so have not had much to show. To do it right takes a ton of time. Adding a couple pole holders to the top, John (bolen05) is getting ready to cut the straight edge free so we can reposition the front rod holder where it needs to be mounted. Big thanks to John for c...

30 amp breakers for the electric outlets mounted and wired in. Using 10awg wire. Waiting on one more breaker to show up. Not going to tighten up all of the wire ties until a later date when I am sure that I am done pulling wires. I also pulled in a wire for under gunnel lighting and do not have them...

electric reel outlets for the back deck. I had the front four installed and did not like the the ones two foot from the transom but did not want to leave the hole empty so I wired it up also. I added the two right next to the transom as I figured they would be less likely to get the plug banged up. ...

Re: pacific assassin build
This makes me smile, heat shrinked, labeled, neatly layed out and room for future growth. NMEA 2000 backbone, autopilot controller ect. I hate working on a rats nest of wires with automotive style wire and connectors. The East coast boat builders figured this out long before the tin can builders hav...

all screws, rivets and nuts and bolts are giving a coating of tef gel. In between most items bolted to the boat, whether aluminum or stainless is a coating also. All to combat corrosion and make it easier to come apart down the road. Gotta love that.

went up and pick her up Thursday, 30 mpg on the way up to Marysville and 13.5 on the way back lol. The little ecodiesel handled it with no issues and plenty of power. Now my work begins.
