Re: My new North River Seahawk Offshore 24'
Helps shed water and helps keep the Glare off of the glass [read, better visibility while on the water and there is more forward head room].

If your Sand Blasting your parts try to make sure the media was not used on Steel as the steel particles can impregnate themselves into your aluminum and you will end up with rust spots.

Re: Out of gas
Bingo
It helps to have the boat level for sure.
When I fill my 23 i watch the fuel gauge and when it starts getting close to full I slow down to the 1st notch on the fuel handle .
I do have two vents on my 2325 [115 gallon tank] and if i go full bore until it's full she will burp fuel all over.

She also said to check the fuel fill hose to make sure there's no extra "droop". If the hose is to long it makes it tough to fill completely.

I just heard from Julie [Via Text] and your boat has a 50 gallon tank.
I wonder if it's a bad pick up tube?

Re: Out of gas
Oh wait...... 2005 model, Sorry but it may have a 40 gallon . Is it a plastic tank or aluminum?
I'm pretty sure the 05 and newer have alloy tanks.

Re: Transom corrosion / Electrolysis problem help
If the manufacture use TREATED lumber in the transom you will have a problem.
Some that have had that problem ended up cutting the transom out/off and replacing it with thicker aluminum and no wood.
Others will be along to give more input on the subject.

New Instructor in Town
Well after over a year wait, lots of planing and practice I FINALLY got to make the trip to Austin to go through the Texas LTC Instructors class . Now I can teach the class here on my own range to get John Q. Public a license to carry a hand gun. The state only does about 300 instructors a year. It'...
