Hi all,
John P. turned me on to this site and I'm very happy to be here. I own a 2004 pacific 23ht with honda 225. Trailer 100+ miles each way to fish and lobster. This year I fished with many new friends I met on one of the other sites Boston Joe, Codfisher,&AlloyToy to name a few.Caught my first tuna this year & lost my first giant tuna this year all on the same day(thanks George).,I have many questions and few answers about these boats. I'm hoping I can find some answers here.

100 MILES EACH WAY, TO FISH??????

I can see this forum is gonna be full of diehards Welder!

Because that takes commitment. (like yourself to Port O Conner?)

I moved closer to the boat ramp, and now I'm 7 minutes away, versus the 12 minutes I used to drive......(Minutes not miles.)

I think I'm gonna love this forum!! :D :D :D

Yea we run 430 miles one way to fish the coast of Texas [ our spot ] then we run 740 miles to Pensacola.

This year starting in June it's gonna be a Gulf Marathon , Fl. , LA, MS and Texas.

Somebody want to send me some GAS money for the truck. :)

Adrian,

Welcome! Sounds like your ride is worth the trouble to get her to the fish. Post some of your vessel pixs.
Marty

WELDER,
We need to get some austrailians, and south africans with their aluminum boats to this site.
