thats right. this boat will be with me always.. i convinced myself to purchase a 25' hardtop cabin cruiser made of glass a few years ago.shes a nice boat w lots of teak (requiring constant maintenance) but it aint my aluminum baby! when the resto is done on the trihull the glass boat may be for sale! might use that $ for a 4 stroke repower. weather been kooky here so pics will come when i can get some work done. thanks for the interest

WoW..you can tell that's an oldie pic, but a goodie.

Because in the "conservative" state of Florida, I believe that's a ticket'able offense today. Riding like that on the bow at hyper magnum speed. (BUT AT THE SAME TIME BIKERS DON'T HAVE TO WEAR HELMETS....FIGURE THAT ONE OUT)

And back then, parents could let their kids (10 years old) like me, ride a bike to a lake 10 miles away, to fish all day long. With not a single problem......or going to jail. :skillet:

Oh what this country has become! HUH?

That would be a great look for your boat. Cover with good coats of Nylic or sharkhide after learning how to make them perfect swirling circles. Super cool RETRO mod

that was apparently how alot of em came. all i have seen in sc had paint. tough stuff too mine is original (white) also saw one on another forum that had been polished to a mirror.... not the route for me i bang this boat good  still thinkin of doin the side panels in rhino as well as the inside white of course... that brushed finish is waaayyy cool!

I'll guess your deck was "wood"?

Because if you were to re-do it all in aluminum plate mill finish, you could go to the same kick azz paint that's in a boat like mine and all Pacifics. A light grey with serious traction. EZ to apply with just a carpet roller, as long as it's nice and cool outside. Not reccomended for southern states summer time temps. I did and it was a nightmare!

u r correct. was wood. will be aluminum as soon as i get the corrosion under control on inside of hull. lots of work cleanin that stuff! still undecided about replacin the flotation and undecided about finish for the deck. has had carpet since i owned it. not bad but tough to clean and stays wet for a while once u get it that way
