Fished Monomoy Island all day Sunday (6/14) and Monday morning, what a great area. There were 2 other Pacific Boats out there on Sunday, a V2025 with a soft top and a V2325HT, "Emma". Out of the 8-10 boats working the area, 3 of them were Pacific's. Congratulations Jay, impressive market share! Both boats looked great and everyone was catching. Good times but no pic's, my guest had the camera.

I don't know it well enough to say if there is a new opening or not. I'm aware that things are always changing in those parts and was interested to see that some of the shoals were not as indicated on my plotter. Knowing this we took it slow and easy. Fortunately several friends have houses in the area, so I'm looking forward to going back sometime soon.

Great pics. We fished the opposite end, launched from Harwich and stayed in the SW Monomoy area. Very fishy.

I always wanted to live off the grid someday and I have been looking to get a summer cabin on one of the islands, but now with the break I'm getting second thoughts. Knowing me I'd buy it, sign the paper work and watch it wash away that same day. :rotfl:

I didn't buy it,..... however it did wash away. I really feel bad for these people, they invested a lot .. but when you play the game of chance with mother nature she will win someday....

Never understood the thought behind those homes on Chatham........the place has gotta be one of the worst areas in New England for storms.....I guess when you have the "Kennedy's" money homes on the Cape in high risk areas are no object :skillet:
