Best Cod Fishing in 30 years

#1

Post by Capt. G »

The last couple trips have been awesome with cod limits and haddock to 9lbs. The fish are holding east of Stellwgen in anywhere from 220 to 300 ft (where we took a half dozen bull haddock on Saturday).

If you are interested in sharking, blue sharks are in abudance and quite willing to take a bait (dead or alive). I always bring along a 50W but my guests are more interested in putting fish on the table than pulling on an inedible shark and considering the great quality of the cod and haddock now available, I dont blame them.

Pretty girls and great fish...dosent get any better than this!
