Back on the action!

Fish are finally here. Ran out twenty the other day and came upon some really nice fish. Caught a ton and kept four 15 to well over 30 pounds. Really nice day - HOT, sunny and calm.

Yeah, I know... nice face! I guess it's getting harder for the old man to hoist them up!

Abalone season kicked in, too. Check out the mother lode!

Great pics Merlin. Jealous big time. I have never caught a Do Do yet. They are the most wild looking of fish. We can't harvest abalone up here yet we have them. They let the sea otter's have at them but not us.

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Those dorado fillet's were something else. And, the abalone was incredible. I was lucky to score some - it's sold to the broker before it hits the beach and it's super expensive even here. Lucky me, I was able to swing an offshore deal. Add some road kill and you've got the perfect surf and turf!
